Indications<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

– Used for chronic weight management in addition to reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity in adults, who have:<\/div>\n
\u2022 a BMI of 30 kg\/m2 or greater (with obesity), or<\/div>\n
\u2022 a BMI of 27 kg\/m2 and less than 30 kg\/m2 (overweight) and weight-related health problems.<\/div>\n
*BMI (Body Mass Index) is a measure of your weight in relation to your height.\u00a0See your doctor to have your BMI measured.<\/div>\n

Missed Dose<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n
5 Days or Less<\/strong><\/div>\n
– Use it as soon as you remember.<\/div>\n
-Then inject your next dose as usual on your scheduled day<\/div>\n
More than 5 Days<\/strong><\/div>\n
– Skip the missed dose<\/div>\n

– Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Intact SC Pens<\/i><\/b><\/div>\n
– Store in the refrigerator at 2\u00b0C to 8\u00b0C (36-46\u00b0F)<\/div>\n
– Storage in the original carton is recommended until time of administration in order to protect from light.<\/div>\n
\n
– Do not store in freezer or directly adjacent to the refrigerator cooling element<\/div>\n
– Do not freeze and do not use if frozen<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
– If needed, each single-use pen, prior to cap removal, can be kept at a temperature, 46-86\u00b0F (8-30\u00b0C), for a total of 28 days.<\/div>\n
– If your pen has been exposed to light or temperatures above 30\u00b0C (86\u00b0F), has been out of the refrigerator for more than 28 days, or has been frozen, dispose of it.<\/div>\n

– Keep pen cap on when not in use<\/div>\n
– Protect from excessive heat and sunlight<\/div>\n
SC Administration<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
– Administer SC to abdomen, thigh, or upper arm<\/div>\n
– The time of day and the injection site can be changed without dose adjustment<\/div>\n
– Administer once weekly, on the same day each week, at any time of day, with or without meals<\/div>\n
– Visually inspect before use; drug should appear clear and colorless<\/div>\n
– Do not use semaglutide if particulate matter and coloration observed<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
