Acute Pain<\/span><\/b>
\nInitial Dose<\/span><\/b>
\n– 100mg by mouth x 1 dose
\n– Take on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hour after food to avoid delay in onset of action<\/p>\n

Subsequent Doses<\/span><\/b>
\n– 50 mg by mouth every 12 hour
\n– Start 12 hr after initial dose
\n– May take these doses with or without food
\n– Use for shortest duration consistent with individual patient treatment goals
\n– Use not studied beyond 14 days<\/p>\n

Missed Dose<\/span><\/strong><\/b>
\n– Take missed dose as soon as possible and then take next dose at recommended time
\n– If \u22652 doses missed, take 100 mg and then take next dose at recommended time
\n– If next scheduled dose is within 6 hr: Skip dose and take subsequent doses at recommended time<\/p>\n
